Two men thousands of miles apart are connected through their battle with cancer. Please, continue praying for them. Istvan Kernaszt, Huba's father, had a 2.5" cancer removed from his neck last week in Bucharest, Romania. This was a Stage IV cancer. The doctors had to remove the right lymph gland and part of his tongue. With therapy, Istvan can learn to talk again. Huba's mother is there in Bucharest with his father.

This morning here in North Richland Hills, TX, Dan's surgeon used a long need to remove more than 100 cc from a pocket that had formed inside the cavity in Dan's thigh. Dan's right calf and foot continue to be painfully swollen because of excess fluid. We have a two week window in which to begin radiation before the cancer cells still in his thigh begin to become sizable. MD Anderson in Houston, TX, called today. Everything is now entered in the computer. They will phone Tuesday or Wednesday to give Dan an appointment to get a 2nd opinion.
