Things Going Well

There is much for which we are thankful - Dan's leg has very little swelling now. His skin is still healthy - no radiation burns. His energy level is good. He drives the car anywhere he needs to go. He walks without a cane. His mood is improving. God is good!

Another reason to celebrate is that Richard Baggett, VP of Development for Eastern European Missions, next Wednesday, at 6 p.m., in Room 204 at RHCC, is going to make a video presentation about how and why EEM gives Bibles to people. Richard and the others at EEM sincerely desire to help us get the Hungarian Children's Bibles that we need! God is good!

And the best news came over 2000 years ago when the angel spoke to the shepherds out in the fields. The angel said, " 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.' Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.'
