Safe in Houston

Just a brief message before we go to bed...can I be brief? : > )

Our trip was free of any difficulties except for being a bit lost...just a little bit lost in Waco. Well, we had Don's home phone, right? So, I phoned the number I had. A man answered, but it did not sound like Don. So I asked, "Is this Don?" He replied, "No, this is Jim." Wrong number! I had Don's 800 number on my computer. My computer worked long enough to give me the number. It was rather like an Abbott and Costello comedy. But we found Don's house, had a good visit, a good night's sleep, everything was good all the way to Houston.

Hilda is a gracious, interesting hostess with a lovely apartment on the 11th floor. She had our bed ready when we arrived, prepared a fine dinner, is taking care of our every need.

Monday, 12:30 Dan signs in at MD Anderson. (Here in Houston, people call it MD.) We'll let you know how things go. In Hebrews 13, God says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." In God we trust. -- Anne and Dan
