Meeting with Radiologist
We had a good meeting today with Dr. Ajay Dubey, M.D., M.P.H., Radiation Oncologist at Edwards Cancer Center in Bedford. He has to wait for Dan's thigh tissue to heal more before radiation treatment can begin. When the drainage is down to less than 100 cc a day, the leg will be ready to begin radiation.
Dr. Dubey is very agreeable to have Dan get a 2nd opinion from M.D. Anderson (MDA) Sarcoma Treatment Center. Dr. Dubey became friends with the head of the MDA Sarcoma Center, Dr. Guadagnolo, when they were together in Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Dubey has begun the steps to get all the medical records MDA has requested. We are now waiting for MDA to return our phone call. We thank God that we are doing well today. Please, pray that Dan will get the 2nd opinion quickly, and for Dan's speedy and complete healing. -- Anne and Dan
