Dan

This has been an especially blessed day. Dan's energy level continues to increase. The sun was bright today outside and in our hearts. We choose to remember that Jesus is Lord, our Redeemer, and we are safe in His hands.

The mail brought some DVDs that we plan to take with us to Romania. Our teammate, Rosemarie Hitesman, and I went to Half Price Books this afternoon to buy some books to ship by sea post. We bought several copies of The Case for Christ, The Purpose Driven Life, and a few copies of books to read in our scheduled "time off." This way, the books will be there when we arrive...we won't have to lug them in our suitcases.

Yes, this time we are going to schedule regular time off. We've never done that before. We love the people and the work we do in St. George. It is refreshing to be with them. But, one of our mentors (I won't mention any names, but her initials are SlW of LST) keeps telling us that we need to schedule time off for ourselves. : > )
