Goals:

As a past publicly elected member of the San Mateo Board of Education, I believe that I can bring the necessary experience and insight to the task of solving the problems of our financially challenged Community College District. It is my intent to work towards providing the highest quality educational opportunities for our diverse population consistent with the financial resources of the district. Particularly in these difficult times, I believe that I can offer a combination of solid business sense, demonstrated commitment to quality education and knowledge of the problems facing educational institutions. It has been, and will continue to be my practice to work in a collaborative manner with both those seeking an education as well as those working to provide that education.
