Community colleges are a vital component of California's educational system, benefiting us all directly or indirectly. However, they face challenges as never before. I will strongly and actively advocate a community college system in San Mateo County that provides affordable, accessible, high-quality, cost-effective educational programs. I will be open and responsive to concerns of students, teachers, administrators, and community members. My professional life has been devoted to serving education and youth and that will continue as your representative on the Board.
